Gigabit Switch
With its 8 ports of 10/100/1000 Mbps, the TL-SG108 allows you to significantly expand your network capacity and transfer large files directly. This means that users at home, in the office, in a workgroup, or creative working environment can send large, bandwidth-intensive files faster. Images, CGI, CAD, or multimedia files can be transferred directly over the network.

The new generation of the TL-SG108 10/100/1000 Mbps desktop switch with 5 ports is equipped with the latest energy-efficient technologies, which increase your network capacity and significantly reduce power consumption. The power consumption is automatically adjusted according to the connection status and cable length to limit the CO2 footprint of your network.
Disable inactive ports
When a computer or network device is turned off, the corresponding port of a traditional switch continues to consume significant amounts of power. The TL-SG108 can monitor the connection status of each port and reduce the power consumption of inactive ports, resulting in up to 72% less power consumption.
Power budget by cable length
Ideally, a shorter cable would consume less power and produce less power loss. However, this is not the case with most devices, as they consume the same amount of power through the cable. The TL-SG108 analyzes the length of the connected ethernet cable and adjusts the power consumption accordingly.
Easy to use
The automatic features of this gigabit switch make plug-and-play installation possible without any issues. Configuration is not required. Thanks to Auto MDI/MDIX, no crossover cables are needed.
